He is the chairman of the Hospital Management Board since March 2026.
He is a teacher by profession and the immediate former chairman of the Nyeri County Public Service Board (November 2019-November 2025).
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Education (English & Literature).
He has been a secretary to KEPSHA central region from 2005-2018 and also a headteacher from 2010-2018.
He has been a member of the Nyeri CPSB from November 2018-November 2019.
